BRYAN P. PARKER is a Founding Partner of The Freedmen Law Group. Partner Parker has been charged with guiding the Family Law Division of the Firm, as the Managing Attorney. Bryan is devoted to serving FLG’s clients, and helping them navigate through issues that can be difficult and emotional.

Partner Parker is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in African-American Studies. Bryan received his J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law, and began his legal career working for a non-profit. He then started his own firm, The Law Office of B.P. Parker, PLLC, where his practice areas included Family Law, Criminal Law, Sports & Entertainment, and Business Transactions. During his time as a solo practitioner, he often used his resources to serve traditionally underrepresented communities. Bryan then moved on to the banking industry, where he worked as a Legal Compliance Consultant for major banking institutions, before he helped to found FLG.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Bryan moved to Fayetteville, NC during his high school years, and has been a resident of North Carolina ever since. Partner Parker is an active member of the Charlotte community, spending time mentoring young people, assisting with community development projects, and holding membership positions with different service organizations.

GUY E. COUSINS is a Founding Partner of The Freedmen Law Group. Partner Cousins will head up the Business Law Division of the Firm. The Business Law Division, through Guy’s leadership, will assist our community with creation of unitary wealth, where long-term sustenance becomes ingrained in the minds of those entrepreneurially minded. He is fully committed to providing the necessary assistance to this end, and to the continuous improvement of those in the community both personally and professionally. 

Guy is a proud native of Richmond, Virginia. Partner Cousins completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration. He subsequently completed his post-graduate degree studies at Charlotte School of Law, obtaining his J.D., and passing the North Carolina State Bar Exam the same year. Guy has been in private practice since becoming a licensed attorney, as an Associate Attorney with the Camm Law Offices, PLLC. The focus areas of his practice with the firm included primarily transactional work involving Landlord/Tenant matters, Business Formation, Business Consulting, Document Drafting and Review, Trademarks and various other Civil matters. 

Outside of practicing law, Partner Cousins, has an immutable passion for ensuring the upward mobility of the youth. Currently living in the Charlotte-Metro area, he mentors youth, between the grades of 7 through 12, as a Board Member of the non-profit organization the T.I.M.E. Foundation. Additionally, he engaged as a Board Member of the Black Law Students Association in his final year studying law, and professionally has continuous engagement with the John S. Leary Bar Association of Black Attorneys.

DOMINIQUE L. CAMM is a Founding Partner of The Freedmen Law Group. Partner Camm will use his vast experience to serve as the Managing Attorney of FLG’s Criminal Law Division. With his proven litigation record, and consistent presence as a freedom fighter throughout the State of North Carolina, he has positioned himself to serve as an anchor for the FLG’s business and social endeavors.

Dominique is a Virginia native who graduated from the North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in African American History. He received his J.D. from North Carolina Central School of Law. While at NCCU, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, as the Black Law School Association (BLSA) Trial Team Coach, and was a participant on the BLSA Trial Team. Before becoming the Editor-in-Chief, his piece “Reversing the Standard the Difficulty in Proving Selective Prosecution,” was selected for publication. While in private practice, he later had an editorial published in the Durham Herald, “What is Driving While Black These Days?”

After graduation, and while serving as an independent contractor researcher for the Center for Death Penalty Litigation, Partner Camm began his own practice handling criminal defense work and traffic tickets in Raleigh and Durham. He also did collaborative research and brief writing for several firms. He served as the Texas Young Lawyers Association Trial Team Coach in 2012, for the North Carolina School of Law team that advanced to the final eight teams in the competition. After relocating he now serves multiple counties in the Greater Charlotte Area. As always, Partner Camm has focused on zealous representation in criminal defense advocacy, which includes federal criminal defense work, felonies, misdemeanors, traffic tickets, and expungements. Partner Camm, has also taken on various civil litigation matters, including Landlord/Tenant, and competency guardianships. He has served as the Treasurer and Co-Vice Chair on the John S. Leary Bar Association of Black Lawyers.
